of an understanding of who Jesus Christ is,
and all He offers.”

How to get to heaven from Stillwater Chapel (or anywhere else!)

1. Recognize that God requires perfect righteousness from you in order to enter heaven.
"For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of
the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 5:20

2. Admit that you do not have enough righteousness to satisfy God's requirement.
"…all our righteous acts are like filthy rags;" Isaiah 64:6b

3. Realize that the penalty for your lack of righteousness (sin) is eternal separation from God.
"For the wages of sin is death…" Romans 6:23a

4. Understand that Jesus Christ satisfied God's requirement of perfect righteousness by living a
perfect life and by paying the penalty for your sin by dying on the cross.
"God made him (Jesus) who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the
righteousness of God." 2 Corinthians 5:21

5. Trust Jesus Christ, God's Son, to forgive all your sins, to satisfy God's requirement of perfect
righteousness for you and to give you the gift of eternal life in heaven!
"This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe.
There is no difference…"	Romans 3:22

One way to express your faith in Jesus Christ is through a prayer like this one: "Dear Lord, I now confess that I am a sinner who has sinned against You. I understand and believe that Jesus Christ, Your Son, died on the cross for all of my sins and rose from the dead. I now trust Jesus Christ to be my Savior. Thank You, Lord, for forgiving my sin and giving me the gift of eternal life. Amen"
