Young Eagles Program at EAA Chapter 1267

The goal of the EAA Young Eagles Program nationally is to give one million young people ages 8-17 a free introductory airplane flight by the 100th anniversary of the Wright brothers' first powered flight in the year 2003. At the end of 2000, the number of registered Young Eagles receiving their first flight totalled 660,000 so the EAA is on schedule to achieve the one million mark. These rides are provided through the generosity of nearly 30,000 volunteer EAA pilots and members of other authorized aviation organizations. Through the EAA Young Eagles Program, we hope to inspire a new generation to explore the exciting world of aviation.

Currently (2012), Mark Harrington is the chairman for our chapter's Young Eagles' Program.

Our 2012 schedule is:
Friday May 11th 8:00 at the Granby Airport
May 12th 8:00 at the Kremmling Airport

Our EAA Chapter has flown over 300 young people since our chapter's inception in 2000.
